Building DAE
DAE Energy Solutions was founded in Brierley Hill with a clear ambition: to deliver Building Management System solutions that combine technical excellence, exceptional customer service and long-term partnerships.
From day one, our vision was to do things differently — bringing together experienced engineers with a collaborative approach to deliver complete BMS solutions from design through to ongoing support.
Our first full year of trading saw significant growth as we secured projects across multiple sectors and expanded our engineering team.
Becoming a Trend System Integrator marked an important milestone, strengthening our technical capability and demonstrating our commitment to delivering high-quality Building Management System solutions.
As our customer base continued to grow, we invested heavily in our people, systems and operational processes to support larger and more complex projects.
Our expanding team strengthened relationships across healthcare, education, commercial and industrial sectors, laying the foundations for the next phase of DAE's growth.
With continued business growth, DAE relocated to its headquarters at Shaw House and incorporated DAE Installations, strengthening our ability to deliver complete Building Management System solutions from design and manufacture through to installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance.
2024 represented another significant milestone as DAE achieved Trend Technology Centre (TTC) status, recognising our advanced technical expertise and commitment to engineering excellence.
Alongside this achievement, we continued to strengthen our leadership team and invest in the people and processes that support our growing customer base.
2025 was one of the most significant years in DAE's journey.
In June, we were honoured to receive the Express & Star Young Business of the Year award, recognising the passion, innovation and dedication of our entire team.
The following month, DAE formed a strategic partnership with Schneider Electric, expanding our technical capabilities and enabling us to deliver an even broader range of smart building and energy management solutions.
During the same year, our business continued to grow nationally, with more than 30 employees and an expanding portfolio of projects and maintenance contracts across the UK.
Today, DAE continues to evolve beyond traditional Building Management Systems through the development of DAE Energize — our vision for smarter, more connected and data-driven buildings.
